We inch back to the mid and upper 30s Friday with a mix of clouds and sun and mild southwest winds. A low-pressure system is on track to pass to our north Saturday bringing gusty winds and light rain showers. The warm front pushes temps into the 40s before the cold front sweeps through Saturday evening. This will change some showers to snow before they taper off Saturday night. The best chance for accumulation is along parts of the South Shore overnight into Sunday morning. Localized areas in Iron and Gogebic County could see 3 or more inches of lake effect snow. Blustery winds and cold air lingers Sunday with highs knocked back into the low and mid 30s. After Sunday, the first week of November will bring the October we missed out on.
