Our Friday is chilly and breezy with scattered light snow showers, particularly for east-central Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin.
The focus remains on the potential for accumulating snow Saturday. Precipitation type is still questionable, particularly for east-central Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin, with the best chance for accumulation found across Northeast Minnesota, where as much as 4 inches will be possible locally.
Localized amounts higher than 4 inches may be produced along the high terrain of Lake Superior on Saturday morning and afternoon. We then look to the South Shore for lake effect potential Saturday night as gusty northwest winds take over on the backside of the system.
