Tuesday: Temperatures today well into the 80s inland with a persistent wind off Lake Superior keeping the shoreline closer to 70. Scattered showers dry up as we head through the morning with sun peeking through the clouds by the afternoon. The atmosphere remains primed with moisture, leading to patchy fog in the morning and uncomfortable humidity throughout the day. The heat and moisture will also support the development of isolated thunderstorms by the evening, but an area of high pressure to our east will challenge this development.

Tuesday night: Chance for isolated storms early, then partly cloudy with patchy fog. Low 62. E wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for evening thunderstorms. High near 80. E wind 5-15 mph.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with a stray shower possible. High 85.
