The National Weather Service in Duluth was still reporting light snow Monday afternoon as temperatures dipped. The temperature at 2 p.m. at the Duluth International Airport was 7F, with a wind chill of -11F. High temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be around zero before a warmup on Thursday brings fresh snow chances.

Closings, cancellations and delays

  • Grand Rapids - Bigfork School District, 2 hours late

  • Solon Springs School District

  • South Shore School District
  • The Duluth informational zoning meeting scheduled for Monday has been rescheduled for 5 pm. Jan. 6 in Room 330 at City Hall.
  • All Duluth Public Schools after school activities have been canceled. KeyZONE remains open.
