It's another mild December morning with most areas seeing temperatures in the 20s with light winds. Highs top off around 30 degrees once again with winds transitioning from southeast to northwest throughout the day as a weak low skirts across the region. This will bring scattered snow showers into the afternoon. A dusting is likely in most areas with between 1 and 2 inches possible north of the Iron Range and for Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
High pressure settles in tonight and into Friday leading to more sun than clouds, but temperatures will be on the cooler side. Clouds increase Friday evening as another piece of energy provides a chance for light snow for the Iron Range overnight.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a few light snow showers. High around 30 degrees. Southeast wind becoming northwest at 5-10 mph.
Friday: Increasing clouds. High around 21 degrees. West wind at 2-8 mph.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High around 30 degrees. South wind at 5-10 mph.
