Your forecast for today: We will get off to a cool, but sunny start this Thursday morning. A frost advisory continues for areas north of the Twin Ports until 9 a.m. Sunshine this morning will help temperatures in the 30s and 40s this morning rebound quickly to an afternoon high near 63 degrees. Southwest winds will gust up to 25 mph this afternoon along with increasing clouds ahead of our next chance for rain that arrives tonight.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy skies will become overcast this evening with rain showers increasing overnight. The clouds and the showers will keep temperatures a touch milder with an overnight low near 50 degrees.
Tomorrow: We can expect a few lingering showers Friday morning, but skies will begin to clear behind a cold front in the afternoon hours. It will be a touch cooler with an afternoon high near 59 degrees.
Cooler air and clearing skies moving in Friday night will allow temperatures to drop into the 30s by Saturday morning. We are looking at the first widespread frost of the season possible for many areas Saturday morning.
