The Duluth Fire Department issued a red-flag warning for Park Point beaches due to a high risk of rip currents.
The warning will remain in effect through 10 a.m. Thursday.
"Rip currents are life-threatening to anyone entering the water," the fire department said in a news release. "Stay out of the water regardless of your swimming experience."
There are no lifeguards on Park Point. Red flags are positioned along the beaches to indicate dangerous conditions.
