Andy "Kaos" Kolle proved Saturday night in theco-main event at the Superior Jungle Rumble 2 at Mortorelli Gym that he is ready for a showcase bout next month with Matt "The Predator" Vanda of St. Paul.
In the main event, Zach "Jungle Boy" Walters won a second-round technical knockout over Ali Supreme of Chicago.
Kolle pummeled Bradley Thompson of Brookwood, Ala., for three rounds of the middleweight bout before the fight was stopped, giving the boxer from Fergus Falls, Minn., a technical knockout at 2:47 of the third round. Kolle (15-1, 12 KOs) knocked Thompson (15-11, 10 KOs) to the floor at will as many as nine times.
"I give Thompson a lot of credit. It takes a lot of heart to come back after getting dropped like that," Kolle said. "I kept hitting him with my jab and then dropping my hook on him. I kept coming, but to his credit he kept coming back. I was in awe of the guy."
