The rebuilding of the Lester Park Elementary playground, 5300 Glenwood St., is set for 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 22, pending delivery of equipment.
About 30 adult volunteers are needed.
Donations to help defray the cost of the playground can be sent to the school, directed to Principal Bonnie Wolden.
Duluth park and street maintenance operations supervisor Tom Kasper said food donations for construction volunteers are welcome.
