The Goodwill store and donation center at 522 Chestnut St. in Virginia will reopen Thursday following a fire at the building last month.
A fire was reported in dumpsters behind the store the night of July 26 that damaged the back door and windows and caused smoke damage to the interior and some inventory, according to a Goodwill news release.
“Since no eyewitnesses have yet come forward, the cause of this fire is currently listed as undetermined.” Virginia Fire Marshal Chris Clark said in the release. “If you have any information please report it to the Virginia Fire Department at 218-748-7520.”
Select clothing will be 50 percent off on Thursday; normal hours will again be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
