An undisclosed number of people were hurt in a head-on crash on Interstate 35 in western Duluth at 12:52 a.m. Sunday.
The identities of the parties involved and their conditions had not been released Sunday evening because authorities were still contacting family members.
A report from the Minnesota State Patrol said a 1995 Chevrolet GMT-400 was traveling north in the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 1999 Honda CRV at milepost 250. Both vehicles were listed as total losses.
The Duluth Police Department, Proctor Police Department and St. Louis County Sheriff's Office assisted on the scene.
