Amy VanOvermeiren and Scott Andrews, both of Duluth, plan to be married Friday at Treasure Island in Las Vegas.
Her parents are Rick and Laura VanOvermeiren of Superior. His parents are Larry and "Bean" Andrews of Maplewood, Minn.
The future bride, a 1999 graduate of Superior Senior High School, graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in sociology, with a concentration in criminal justice. She is a department supervisor for Home Depot in Duluth.
The future groom, a 1999 graduate of Park High School in Cottage Grove, Minn., graduated from Lake Superior College in 2006 with an associate degree in supervisory management. He is branch manager for Western Bank in Duluth.
