Vandals slashed tires on 17 vehicles in Duluth's East Hillside and Endion neighborhoods early Sunday.
Duluth police reported that about half of the damaged vehicles were in the vicinity of Sixth Street and 16th Avenue East; the other half were in the 900 block of East Fifth Street.
The vandalism occurred between midnight and 8 a.m. One or two tires were punctured on each vehicle, mainly on the driver's side, apparently with a knife.
Anyone with information on the tire slashings is asked to call 911.
