Vandals caused minor damage in East High School's administrative offices overnight.
Employees arriving at the school this morning found that someone had broken in overnight.
"There was some vandalism in the administrative offices - minor, like spraying of fire extinguishers, tossing papers around, that kind of thing," school district spokeswoman Katie Kaufman said.
Staff and students arriving early were asked to remain in the lobby and gym areas while police investigated and custodians cleaned up the vandalism. After that classes resumed as normal.
Kaufman said the district doesn't have a damage estimate for the vandalism yet.
