The Duluth Police Department is seeking information about graffiti written on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Duluth's Lakewalk on Wednesday afternoon.
The police received a report of vandalism at the memorial at 3:23 p.m. Wednesday and officers saw graffiti written on the memorial, according to police spokesman Ron Tinsley. The police are continuing to investigate the incident and anyone with information about the graffiti should call 911, he said.
This is the second time the memorial has been vandalized this year. Graffiti and Xs were painted with a metallic-colored paint pen over the towns and counties listed on the memorial in January.
The memorial is located on the Lakewalk near the Fitger's Brewery Complex.
