Vahamaki, Manning wedding

Sofia Vahamaki and Jason Manning, both of Duluth, were married June 2, in Duluth. Her parents are Barb Shronts-Vigeant of Summerland Key, Fla., Borje Vahamaki and Varpu Lindstrom, both of Beaverton, Ontario, Canada, and the late John "Jack" Shronts.

Her parents are Barb Shronts-Vigeant of Summerland Key, Fla., Borje Vahamaki and Varpu Lindstrom, both of Beaverton, Ontario, Canada, and the late John "Jack" Shronts. His parents are Jim and Judy Manning of Birchwood, Wis.

The bride chose Carina Barker as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Amundsen, Gretchen Becherer, Amanda Cofield, Colleen Mahoney and Sarah Vannevel.

The groom chose Dean Anderson as best man. Groomsmen were Mike DeGroy, Bill Jones, Jim Manning, Joe Manning and Dan Schutte.

The bride, a 1993 graduate of Minnetonka (Minn.) High School, graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is a paralegal in Duluth.

The groom, a 1990 graduate of St. Croix Central High School in Hammond, Wis., is a morning show co-host and assistant program director for KQDS-FM in Duluth.
