Duluth police are seeking a car and driver involved in a hit-and-run accident early Monday.
According to police, a man was walking across the street in the middle of the 500 block of East Fourth Street shortly after 2 a.m. when he was hit by a two-door, older model white Cadillac. The car continued eastbound on Fourth Street at high speed.
Raymond George Johnson, 49, of Duluth, suffered multiple injuries - including fractured ribs, a broken leg and possible internal injuries. He was taken to St. Luke's emergency room.
Anyone with information on the hit-and-run is encouraged to call the Duluth Police Traffic Bureau at 730-5030.
