One person was killed in an accident early this morning near Hibbing.
Minnesota State Police reported a 1993 Ford Explorer was traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 169 at St. Louis County Road 5 north of Hibbing at 3:24 this morning when it left the road and rolled over. A passenger was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene.
Names were not expected to be released until Sunday morning.
Chisholm and Hibbing police and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department assisted at the scene.
