The University of Minnesota Duluth will collect winter gear for students in need.
Gently used items will be collected at various spots around campus through Wednesday. On Thursday, donations will be on offer to the UMD community through a pop-up shop inside the UMD Express Store. The idea is to help students without questions or judgment, said Amanda Perrin, assistant housing director at UMD in a news release.
