Returning national semifinalist Minnesota Duluth women's volleyball team will start the 2007 campaign ranked second in the country.

The College Sports Television/American Volleyball Coaches Association Division II coaches poll puts the team that stopped the Bulldogs national title run -- Tampa -- in the top spot.

UMD returns four starts, including three All-Americans and the 2006 Division II co-nataional player of the year, Vicky Braegelmann.

The Bulldogs start their season Aug. 24-25 at the Concordia-St. Paul tournament.
