The Mavericks won the second game 5-3.
UMD's John Leitch (1-2) pitched a complete game with five hits and six strikeouts for the win.
UMD is 11-20 overall and 1-6 in the North Central Conference, while Nebraska-Omaha is 20-16 overall and 1-6 in the NCC.
