The University of Minnesota Duluth has named a new vice chancellor for finance and operations.
Michael Seymour, most recently vice president of finance and operations at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and Anoka Technical College in Anoka, Cambridge and Coon Rapids, Minn., has been named to the post.
Seymour, who has held his previous position since 2002, has also taught at the technical and community college and university levels, and served as dean, chief information, financial and academic officers and chief of student affairs.
Seymour is from Escanaba, Mich., and is a candidate for a doctorate degree in adult and higher education at the University of South Dakota. He begins July 1.
