The University of Minnesota Duluth’s annual homecoming festivities are set for Saturday.
A parade begins at 11 a.m., moving across campus along University Drive and disbanding on Saint Marie Street. It will be followed by a football game against Southwest Minnesota State, set for a 1:05 p.m. kickoff at Malosky Stadium.
The parade will lead to some traffic delays in the campus area. University Drive will close at 10 a.m. Additionally, eastbound traffic will not be allowed on Saint Marie Street between Kirby Drive and Carver Avenue starting at 10:45 a.m., and drivers traveling west may experience some delays.
Tailgate lots along University Drive will be accessible from westbound St. Marie. Traffic along Junction Avenue will be restricted to its parking lots.
Duluth Transit Authority buses will operate as scheduled, and traffic should be back to normal by noon, the Duluth Police Department said.
