EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The new Miss Minnesota is a 23-year-old Austin woman.
Angie McDermott was crowned Saturday in Eden Prairie.
McDermott has a communications degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She will now compete in the Miss America competition in January.
