Minnesota State-Mankato and Augustana swept the men's and women's team titles at the last-ever North Central Conference cross-country meet, which was held in Carlton today.
Minnesota Duluth men placed third, led by senior Eric Atkinson, who covered the 8-kilometer course in 24 minutes and 54 seconds.
The UMD women were led by Liz Palkie, who finished sixth in 22:17 over 6 kilometers.
UMD runners race next on Nov. 3 at the NCAA Division II North Central Regional in Vermillion, S.D.
