U.S. Terrorism Task Force makes arrest in Minnesota

WOOD LAKE, Minn. -- The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the U.S. Marshal Service's Joint Terrorism Task Force on Wednesday to arrest a fugitive in the city of Wood Lake.

WOOD LAKE, Minn. -- The Yellow Medicine County Sheriff's Office teamed up with the U.S. Marshal Service's Joint Terrorism Task Force on Wednesday to arrest a fugitive in the city of Wood Lake.

Thomas Richard Kelley, of Salem, S.D., was wanted on federal tax code violations.

He was arrested without incident, but a loaded handgun and a suspicious object was found in the motor home where Kelley was living.

The Bloomington Police Department's bomb squad detonated the object, which was found to contain drug paraphernalia and money.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force includes Minnehaha County Sheriff's office, the FBI, the Internal Revenue Service and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
