Two vehicles were torched in Superior since Sunday after being stolen in Duluth.

Early Sunday, a 2005 Nissan was driven from Duluth to Wisconsin Point and burned. Early today, a work van was taken from Duluth and burned on Albany Avenue in Superior.

Although it's not unusual for thieves to destroy vehicles after joy rides, it's unusual to have vehicles stolen and burned two days in a row, said Superior Police Department Assistant Chief Charles LaGesse.

Nobody was injured in the fires and police have no suspects. Anyone having information is asked to call the Superior Police Tip Line at 395-7468.
