Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Minnesota Highway 33 in Cloquet on Saturday.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that Corrine Wick, 71, of Cloquet was traveling north on Highway 33 just north of Interstate 35 when she attempted to make a turn across the southbound lanes of the divided highway just after 4:30 p.m.
Wick's Saturn was hit broadside by a Chrysler minivan traveling south on Highway 33.
Wick was transported to St. Luke's hospital in Duluth with what the Patrol reported were serious injuries. The driver of the minivan - Jennifer Daher, 57, of Kerrick - was transported to Community Memorial Hospital in Cloquet with non-life-threatening injuries, the Patrol reported.
