A man and a woman were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday on U.S. Highway 53 near Cook, said the Minnesota State Patrol.
Roger Marjamaa, 54, of Angora was traveling east on County Road 25 when he failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 53 and was broadsided by Theresa Little, 42, of Orr, who was traveling south on 53, the state patrol said.
Both drivers sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. Little was wearing her seat belt and Marjamaa was not, the state patrol said.
The patrol said alcohol was not a factor in the accident.
