Quick action by Duluth and Hermantown police, including a tracking dog, led to the arrest of two Duluth teenagers minutes after a cab robbery Sunday evening.

Duluth police received a call shortly before 5:30 p.m. that the driver of a Yellow Cab had been robbed while in the 3200 block of Restormel Street. The youths fled with the cab keys and a small amount of cash.

Police set up a perimeter, and a Hermantown police canine unit was called in. The dog led officers to a home in the 3100 block of Vernon Street, where officers found two juvenile males who matched the description provided by the cab driver. The suspects later were identified by the driver.

The 14- and 15-year-old boys were booked into Arrowhead Juvenile Center on initial charges of simple robbery.
