Two people are facing felony charges following drug busts in Duluth last week.
The Duluth Police Department and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force seized heroin, cocaine and cash while executing two search warrants last Wednesday, authorities reported Wednesday.
Michael Andre Byrd, 41, of Chicago was charged with two counts of first-degree sale of a controlled substance after police allegedly seized 20 grams of heroin, 16 grams of cocaine and drug paraphernalia from a residence on the 200 block of North 15th Avenue East.
Bianca Jackson, 24, of Chicago was arrested a short time later when officers allegedly discovered 70 grams of heroin, drug paraphernalia and $7,768 in cash inside a residence on the 1700 block of West Second Street. She faces a single count of first-degree sale of a controlled substance.
