The last time I looked at the calendar, we were still in November. With below-zero wind chills, overnight lows hanging around zero and highs only in the teens, it feels like January.
Our cold weather will continue at least until the end of the week, when a warm-up happens. Before then, we have to deal with a quick-moving clipper system late Tuesday into Wednesday. This may drop a quick 1-3 inches of snow across the region, making both the Wednesday morning and afternoon commutes slick. Lake effect on the South Shore looks to then take over the headlines again late Wednesday into Thursday with a stiff northwesterly wind.
Have a great day and drive safely.
