High pressure will be over the Northland for the next couple of days. We'll see a few clouds this afternoon with highs in the mid-80s.
On Wednesday, a weak system aloft will move near the Northland, giving us a 20 percent chance of a thunderstorm or two. Lows will be near 59 and highs near 83.
Thursday and Friday will be uneventful. Lows on Thursday will be down to 60 and highs near 80 with partly cloudy skies. On Friday, we'll see mostly sunny skies, a low of 59 and high of 80. High pressure will still be hovering over the region but will push east into Saturday.
A shortwave in the jetstream will sweep in and give us a 40 percent chance of showers and storms on Saturday.
