Overnight, a shot of arctic high pressure came calling, and many towns got a few snow showers. Most of us should see at least a partly sunny sky. Iron and Gogebic counties may get flurries and the Canadian border region may stay mostly cloudy. The arctic high will keep temperatures low today. Look for a range of 15-20. The normal is 37 or so.
On Wednesday, clouds will increase and there'll be a chance for evening snow as a Colorado low threatens the Northland. My favorite charts favor snow totals between 4 and 6 inches on Thursday.
Once the snow passes, we should slowly warm to the 40s by Sunday. Although, right now, it doesn't look like that "heat wave" will last forever, either.
