We'll see partly cloudy skies as a high-pressure system builds in and clears us up today. Highs will be around 79, and winds will be northerly at 5-10 mph.

A strong trough in the jet stream will push in from the north on Wednesday and will cause enough uplift to warrant a 40 percent chance of showers and storms. Lows will be around 56 and highs near 73 with mostly cloudy skies. The chance of rain and storms will continue at around 40 percent for Thursday as the trough continues to move through the region. Lows Thursday morning will be at 54 and highs near 69, again with mostly cloudy skies.

Friday, high pressure builds back in behind the trough and we see things clear up to mostly sunny with lows near 49 and highs around 72.
