Only in the Northland can we see near-record heat one week and snow the following week. It's what makes living up here a forecaster's dream. It really is like Gump says: "Weather is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get!" Well, Jennnnnneyyy, get ready for some light snow.

Expect blustery conditions today with a strong westerly wind. Temperatures are likely to remain steady, in the low to mid-40s. Air cold enough to convert rain to snow is possible mainly along and north of the Iron Range tonight into Wednesday. The Arrowhead may get a dusting to an inch on grassy surfaces by Wednesday morning.

We will dry out out Wednesday, with cooler air the rest of the week. Halloween looks to be dry and cool, with temps in the 40s.
