A large low-pressure system will approach the Northland this morning. This low will provide enough uplift to give us an 80 percent chance of rain throughout the day and into Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid-60s with southwest winds about 5-15 mph. It will be possible to see 0.4 inches of rain on Tuesday in Duluth and around the Pagami Creek fire.
Lows Wednesday morning will be near 46 with rain showers. On Wednesday the wind will shift from southwest to northwest, and cool us off to 53 for a high. Expect about 0.15 inch of rain Wednesday with a 70 percent chance of showers.
Thursday we'll start off at 36 degrees but warm up to 56 as the precipitation leaves and we see partly cloudy skies. Friday is the first day of fall, and we should see plenty of sun with mid-30s for lows and low 60s for highs.
Make it a great day!
