A jury trial has been set for Jan. 12 in Pine County District Court for a woman accused of driving drunk in an accident that killed a Two Harbors veterinarian.
Ann Marie Martinson, 54, is charged with 18 crimes, including four counts of criminal vehicular homicide, in connection with the Aug. 10, 2007, collision that killed Mary Schlangen, 35.
Martinson's last name was Brodman at the time of the accident.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Pine County Road 13.
Schlangen worked at Grand Avenue Veterinary Clinic in West Duluth. Her husband, Mark, was seriously injured in the accident. The couple's two children were also injured.
