Training scheduled on collecting veterans stories

Veterans Memorial Hall is hosting an oral history training session for volunteers to help the St. Louis County Historical Society, which is attempting to collect the oral history of every veteran in the county.
The free training session is 9 a.m. to noon Friday at the Depot, 506 Michigan St. Contact (218) 733-7586 to RSVP for the session. Participants will learn about the background of the oral history program, the importance of recording the interviews for preservation and how to conduct one-on-one interviews with area veterans.
