The city of Duluth is hosting a virtual public meeting at noon Monday to discuss pedestrian safety and accessibility along First Street.

The safety conversation will take place as city officials are exploring changing First Street from a one-way street to a two-way street between Mesaba Avenue and 24th Avenue East, according to a news release from the city.

City staff and members of the city's disabilities commission will be participating in the public meeting, which can be accessed at duluthmn.gov/live-meeting under the "planning and development public meetings" tab.
