West First Street will be closed in front of the CenturyLink building in downtown Duluth on Tuesday as a contractor uses a crane to remove and replace an underground electrical transformer.

The closure will occur between Third and Fourth avenues west from 6:30-10:30 a.m., according to the city. The sidewalk will remain open on the north side of the street, and vehicles can access buildings from Third Avenue West.
