Traffic along U.S. Highway 2 in the Saginaw area will encounter a detour while crews repair a railroad bridge over the next week.

Canadian National Railway will be conducting work on the bridge spanning the highway just west of the intersection with State Highway 194. Daily closures will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m. each weekday from Wednesday, Jan. 8, to Wednesday, Jan. 15, weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured around the bridge via State Highway 33 and Saginaw Road.
