MnDOT to talk highway projects over coffee in Virginia
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled a coffee and conversation meeting in Virginia from 10-11:30 a.m., Thursday to discuss a series of upcoming projects, according to a MnDOT news release on Tuesday.
On the agenda:
- The $7.2 million Highway 53 Intersection and Passing Lanes Project scheduled this summer to add four passing lanes between Cook and International Falls.
- The nearly $9 million Highway 135 Improvements Project, which will run May through October and include 23 miles of resurfacing, turn-lane and bridge improvements and dozens of culvert replacements between Gilbert, Aurora and the town of White.
- A 2021 Highway 169 resurfacing project between Taconite and Pengilly
The public is invited to attend. There will be presentations on the projects and time for questions and discussion. MnDOT hosts coffee and conversation meetings quarterly at MnDOT headquarters in Virginia at 101 N. Hoover Road.
