Essentia redevelopment comments sought
Christened by the health system as Vision Northland, the proposed project includes a 920,000-square-foot multi-story tower that would reduce Essentia’s overall footprint.
The city announced on Thursday that it will accept public comments from Monday through March 13 on an environmental assessment worksheet that was prepared for Essentia Health.
An electronic copy is available online at duluthmn.gov/community-planning/medical-district, and hard copies are available at the main branch of the Duluth Public Library as well as the Mount Royal and West Duluth branches as well as at the Duluth Planning and Economic Development office, 411 W. First St., Room 110.
The Planning Commission will have a public hearing to receive comments on the environmental worksheet at 5 p.m. March 12 in the council chambers at City Hall.
