A small portion of Woodland Avenue will be closed to traffic Monday, the city of Duluth said.

The southbound lane between East Eighth Street and Garden Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install a temporary road patch related to a previous utility project. Drivers can take Kent Road and Eighth Street as detour routes; northbound traffic will not be impacted.

A permanent patch will be installed next year, the city said.
