The National Weather Service in Grand Forks, N.D., reports that storm spotters reported a tornado near Bemidji shortly before 6 p.m.
County emergency management officials reported sighting the tornado north of U.S. Highway 71, about 13 miles northeast of Bemidji, moving east.
