We'll see a little break from the stormy weather today, with highs returning to the upper 80s and partly cloudy skies.

A weak high pressure system will move in, but it's out of here by Friday.

The jet stream will dip down a little and create some uplift, spawning a low pressure system that will give us a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs on Friday will be near 79 and lows in the upper 50s.

These showers and storms will last into the night and will start to diminish early Saturday morning. By the afternoon we'll be up to 80 with partly cloudy skies.

Sunday looks similar, with a 20 percent chance of a pop-up afternoon thunderstorm, lows in the mid 50s and highs near 80.
