If you live east of Ashland, there will continue to be lake-effect snow until at least 6 p.m. today. At least that is how long the advisory issued by the National Weather Service lasts. High pressure then builds in for the weekend, putting us into a southerly flow.
This means we'll see a little sunshine this weekend along with temperatures rising into the 30s. This might be a perfect weekend to take the family to a favorite sledding hill or hit the slopes.
We'll be watching the weather closely late Sunday into Monday. There is a large low popping up on our weather maps. Half of the maps show the system going south, and half have the Northland getting hit with its second winter storm. As soon as we know for sure, you'll know.
