It's March and we're still about 2 feet below average on snowfall. We've had only 44.3 inches of snow. I hate to say it, but we need more snow or lots of early spring rain so we don't go into the summer with a severe drought. Our forecast looks to stay or continue to be dry over the next seven days. We may see some light snow Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday night but all of it looks to stay north along the Iron Range and international border.
Today's highs will still be a bit on the cooler side as high pressure locks a lot of that colder air in place.
