The jet stream is in a trough pattern over the eastern half of Canada. This trough will amplify tonight and Friday. A cold front will move through, giving us a 50 percent chance of showers and storms on Friday.
On Friday, we've got a 20 percent chance of morning showers, and cooler air will filter in behind the front.
The trough sticks around Saturday, giving us more clouds and a slight chance of showers. Expect mostly sunny skies Sunday as high pressure builds in once again.
